Tourist number 3

Decided just to go to the beach get there and it is raining which is warmer rain or the Pacific Ocean go in the ocean need some chips*it is very salty get out the ocean and get soaked in the rain which is warm so now have a rain tan which is a water line Upto my knees.

The Bus

Hooray spent yesterday trying to get a Seniors Bus pass.Went to the Satellite town hall and waited in a Long line up but met an interesting lady from Oregon who had been to Med Hat in 1972 so of course knew Mr Trudeau senior. Got to the front of the queue to be told you are in the wrong line, just go to the cashier. Good she said yes we can upgrade your pass but if you don't have one you have to go to the Yikiyaka transit terminal don't call it a bus depot only gets lots of blank stares and you end up at Home Depot. Got to Yikiyaki eventually. Purchased a pass now good for 4 years in Hawaii hope l live that long. But with a pass you still pay a $ per trip. Fine ok get on bus home the driver says you should get a strip on your pass and it is free bus is leaving so stay on and go back to Satellite Town  Hall get in correct line. The lady says what do you want we say a strip for our pass. After the 19th Jan you can only buy one for Feb. Totally confused go back to Hotel and buy a six pack consuming in one go and all troubles disappear

Hawaii Danube Update

First port of call in Hawaii was Walmart as everything in Waikiki is expensive so took the Bus which is an excellent way to get around going to see if we can get an old farts pass. Off to Chinatown to get some veg and fruits on the bus. No change given on the Bus so have to have correct money as they have never heard of the Loonie.
