Two days ago l took a reroute to the Concentration camp at Malthousen. It was quite a climb getting Up To the camp and a beautiful day. I Parked my bike paid my Euro and went in. I visited the sculptures put up by the different nations. All the time l was in there l did not see or hear a bird, if their is a God he must have told the birds to stay away. The irony was it was so beautiful looking out over the hills just 50 meters outside the camp. I then went into the old huts where it has been set up to reenact the way it was 70 years ago. Then in the last hut there were lots of images of the brutality of the place. The final building had the whole history of the rise of the Nazis and the persecution tactics they used. Nothing was left out especially the grisly photos. Then we went down towards the gas chambers with many more images, there l met a teenage girl just balling her eyes out and l joined in. I was starting to feel ill and had to get out of there. I just had to get away from that place of total evil.
