After walking and finding out everything of a cultural nature is closed on Mondays went for a Thermal bath and a massage. AHS are better than the KGB they have people everywhere. I asked the hotel front desk guy how to get to the fine arts museum he told me in precise detail. I had the pamphlet about it being the most visited place in Budapest, but it left out nobody gets in on a Monday, it would have been nice to say we are open 6 days a week but don't bother showing up on a Monday. When l get back to the hotel l ask the guy anything you want to tell me about Mondays in Budapest. Oh yes on Monday it is closed. It was a cultural experience taking the underground the oldest in Europe and it runs on a Monday.
The thermal bath and outdoor Lido was wonderful and relaxing and open on a Monday.
Then had the authentic Thai massage, this should definitely be added to Blue Cross. I went in with aches and pains this little girl manipulated every muscle and joint in your body except one of course. Right from the get go she found the pressure points on your feet and what relief. From being totally stiff she turned me into the Indian rubber man, had to go for a snooze after that.
